Do you suspect or know that your child has autism, ADHD, a learning difference, or behavioral disorder? It’s natural to find yourself wondering: Where do I begin?

The advice can be overwhelming. Doctors, family, friends, and endless Google searches all say different things. One moment you’re told to try therapy or medication, the next you’re told to just “wait and see.” No wonder it feels confusing and exhausting.

I’ve been there too — both as a parent and as a pediatric occupational therapist. My own child is facing challenges like sensory sensitivities, picky eating, daily meltdowns, and separation anxiety. I know how hard it is to sort through all the noise and find what truly helps.

That’s why I created Beneath OT LLC. It’s a space for parents who want clear, compassionate guidance without the overwhelm. Here, you’ll find resources that dig deeper — getting beneath the surface to understand root causes, support your child with empathy, and help them grow into their authentic, amazing self.

Let’s start this journey together — beneath the noise, and toward clarity and confidence.

FAQ

What services do you provide?

I am currently providing personalized 60-minute virtual consultation calls where we can discuss any concerns or questions you may have about your child and how to best address them through the lens of a certified pediatric occupational therapist.

What ages do you work with?

I have experience working with parents to children of all ages ranging from 0-21 years old. However, I am also a firm believer age is just a number, and help does not stop once a child “ages out.”

Can you provide Occupational Therapy
for my child?

While I currently work at a private clinic providing direct OT treatment, I am not providing the same type of care at Beneath OT LLC. My mission is to provide educational and individualized coaching services to parents based on my 13 years’ experience working with children and my knowledge in neurodiversity affirming practices and child development.

How much is a consultation?

I am offering a free 30 minute consultation to new parents who are interested and want to learn more. Once you are ready to take next steps, you can book a single 60 minute consultation for $75 or a bundle package of 5 individual 60 minute consultations for $300 (a savings of one free $75 consultation!)

What other resources do you plan to offer?

I am in the process of creating a 6 week online course for parents on how sensory processing truly sets the foundation for behavior and learning – with outlines on how to identify their child’s sensory profile and meet their needs to improve daily functioning. In addition, I am excited to create content to what matters most to you, so please contact me if there is a specific topic you would also like me to cover!

A consultation with Beneath OT LLC is a 60-minute virtual session where we’ll talk through your child’s developmental stage, identify areas they may be struggling with and why, explore the challenges your family is facing, and share practical strategies to support your child’s daily activities and participation.

We’ll work together to create a clear, step-by-step plan to reach your goals. My focus is to help you feel confident in understanding what your child is experiencing, how to support their needs, and how to apply what you’ve learned in everyday life.

Hi, I’m Taylor — and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’ve been working with kids for 13 years, first as a nanny, then as a registered behavioral therapist, and now as a pediatric occupational therapist. I am certified in Dr. Jean Ayres Sensory Integration (CASI), follow DIR FloorTime practices, and implement picky eating programs such as SOS Approach to Feeding.

I’m also a parent, so I understand the worries and challenges that come with raising a neurodivergent child. In fact, it wasn’t until I was postpartum with my son that I received my own ASD diagnosis and began to realize a lot of the struggles I was experiencing were ones my child and I both shared.

I started Beneath OT LLC because I believe every child has incredible potential — even when the world seems to misunderstand them. My mission is to support parents with clear resources, compassionate coaching, and a provide a community that gets it.

Whether you’re just beginning this journey or feeling stuck along the way, I’m here to help you find clarity and confidence through connection, co-regulation, and sensory-informed care.
